Reed Specialist Recruitment are supporting our innovative and forward-thinking Client within the Technology Industry, by recruiting for an Account Development Representative to join the team due to natural growth of the company.

The Account Development Representative’s primary focus is to drive outbound calling efforts to identify net new accounts, opportunities, and revenue from leads generated through marketing activities. You will be aligned closely with the regional sales teams and you will be the foundation on which they build the sales and marketing success.

You will have the initial (and therefore most important) opportunity to make an impression on a prospective Client so you will be responsible for providing a positive and professional experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up. Driving excitement, creativity, and relationship building into every prospect call is crucial.

You will be employed on a Permanent, full time basis, working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday within UK Office hours.


- Perform outbound sales activities such as lead follow-up and opportunity qualifications
- Managing inbound sales requests via phone, e-mail, and social media.
- Research accounts to understand needs, enable effective follow up, and generate interest.
- Disseminate opportunities to the sales team, educating the team about the opportunity.
- Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.
- Record and track sales activities using Zoho CRM.
- Meets or exceed activity metrics for outbound calls, appointments set, opportunities added, and prospecting time.
- Build relationships and effectively communicate with sales team and external partner organisations to positively influence direction.
- Proactively look for opportunities to improve, optimise end-to-end lead management and other sales and marketing processes.

Skills & experience required

- Ideally looking for a Graduate
- A self-motivated and positive individual with lots of energy and enthusiasm
- Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills.
- Superior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, and objection handling.
- Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions.
- Ability to convey information clearly and analyse customer requirements as needed to help customer make buying decisions.
- Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills.
- Passion for testing, measuring and improving marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Passion for digital marketing/technology
