The company uses cutting edge technologies in development and production of devices for physical medicine, cardiology and non-invasive aesthetic medicine. The R&D center in Sofia is looking for an experienced R&D Hardware Engineer - Medical Devices.
What you will do:
- Define technical concepts, create functional schematic designs
- Dimensioning the complete electronic system based on product requirements
- Create technical documentation
- Functional and parametric testing of electronic modules and mechatronic systems
- Pre-compliance preparation and in-house EMC and Electrical Safety tests
- System and components verification
- Work in strong collaboration with Mechanical and Software engineers
Requirements:
- College/University degree in Еlectrical Еngineering
- Developed technical thinking related to electronics with good background in physics
- Good understanding of mechanics with focus on detail. Ability to evaluate the correlation between hardware and mechanics
- Analytic, structural and solid approach to tasks
- Self-managed work style and sense of responsibility
- Willingness to continuously grow
- English language level to be able to understand and create technical documentation and to communicate with foreign colleagues
- To have the willingness to become an expert on product standards and all relevant standards
Will be considered as an advantage:
- Experience in HW design with focus on reliability and accuracy
- Experience in PCB layout (preferred – Altium Designer)
- Еxperience in electronics design simulation
- Experience with EMC compliant electronic designs, handling of EMC equipment and EMC measurements
- Knowledge of standards for medical electronics development (IEC 60601)
